Parent Action Data

Parent Action Data, as part of the Parent Action Connects virtual community,  is a repository of the data Parent Action Independent Family Advocates, and Parent Carer Champions staff

gather in their daily advocacy practice, primarily on parent carers ‘themes of experience and concern’ in their daily fight to access public services for themselves and their child.

Data is also gathered anonymously on public service provider staff experiences, in each local Council area and securely stored on Parent Action Connects, with the support of Website NI.(put in something here about how Website NI keeps this data secure?), and can also be used by public service commissioners, to connect real experience of people delivering and receiving their public service, with the audit and quality data they gather, to inform their quality improvement corporate objectives.

Parent Action Data, can be used by public service and community and voluntary organisations

working with children, young people and adults with disabilities/lifelong health conditions and their parents and siblings, to improve the family centred focus, nature and quality of their services, in consultation with Parent Action parent carer members and the Parent Action Board of Trustees.
