Parent Wellness Centres, provide early education, holiday schemes and afterschool clubs for children, young people and young adults up to age 19 with additional needs/disabilities.
Parent Wellness Centres also support parents and parent carers with meeting, training, peer advocacy and therapy/counselling facilities specifically designed to meet the needs of parent carers of children, young people and adults with disabilities/lifelong health conditions.
Parent carers can engage in face to face, 1:2:1 sessions with their Parent Action Connects advocate, enjoy peer support in local Parent 2 Parent group meetings, attend parent carer training events and courses with Parent Action’s Community Action Training Service, as well as access the range of parent wellbeing services provided by our parent support partner, The Parent Rooms Charity.
